Delivery Options

Built to Order, Made expressly for You

For all Sealy® mattresses, foundations and Ease Power Base  except for Sealy Essentials

Every Sealy® mattress is made to order direct at our factories and will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Here's what to expect:

Orders Placed

Within 48 hours of receiving your online mattress order, we’ll send it to Sealy's US-based manufacturing facilities.

Built to Last

Sealy carefully builds your mattress to order ensuring durability, comfort, and support — for quality you can trust.  It can take up to three weeks for your new mattress to arrive.

Shipping Details

Once complete, Sealy will package your order and ship it to a local delivery partner who will reach out to schedule delivery.

In-Home Delivery

A local team will place your new mattress in the room of your choice and even remove your old mattress (if requested).


This is the only option for Sealy Posturepedic mattresses, Ease Power Base and Foundations

1.  In-Room Delivery & Set-up

  • For all Sealy Posturepedic Spring, Foam and Hybrid mattresses, foundations and Ease Power Base. These products are flat packed and are not compressed.  
  • Excludes Sealy Essentials Memory Foam. (Compressed Mattress-in-a Box)
  • There is no additional charge and delivery is included in your purchase price
  • Our delivery team will deliver your new mattress, foundation or Ease Power Base into the room of your choice
  • "White Glove Delivery"
  • We will unwrap and have your sleep set assembled
  • Your product will be ready to enjoy to use when delivery is complete  
  • We will cleanup, remove and recycle the packaging as we are done.
  • Shipping generally takes 20-30 calendar days. Dependent on final proximity of Sealy's US manufacturing facility to final destination. 
  • Please note that if you combine an mattress order with a Sealy Recliner or Sofa Convertible - the mattress delivery will be delivered separately.  Deliveries cannot be combined.

No additional brokerage, duty, or freight fees will be added to your purchase price.

* We do not ship outside the United States. We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico.  We do not ship to PO Boxes and FPO / APO.

This is the only option available on 'quick ship' Sealy Essentials Foam mattresses

2.  To the Door Delivery

  • For all Sealy Essentials Memory Foam mattresses. These mattresses are compressed and shipped rolled in a box.  (Mattress-in-a-box).  
  • Excludes Sealy Posturepedic Spring, Foam and Hybrid mattresses, foundations and Ease Power Base.  These products are flat packed and are not compressed.
  • A courier will deliver your new mattress-in-a-box.
  • Threshold Delivery (Door) 
  • You will be responsible for unwrap, assembly and discarding packaging
  • Shipping generally takes 10-20 calendar days. Dependent on final proximity of Sealy's US manufacturing facility, courier and the final destination. 
  • Please note that if you combine an mattress order with a Sealy Recliner or Sofa Convertible - the mattress delivery will be delivered separately. Deliveries cannot be combined.

When will I receive my order?

Once we have received and confirmed your order, it normally takes 2-4 business days to process and ship your order. Your shipment will leave the warehouse and typically be delivered within 20-30 calendar days.

Scheduling Your Delivery

A team member from our delivery partner will contact you to coordinate a delivery date and time window. This call will take place when your order is in the distribution center nearest your home. You will be contacted by phone, using the direct phone number you provided when placing the order, to schedule the delivery appointment at the address provided.


Please note that if you combine an mattress order with a Sealy Recliner or Sofa Convertible - the mattress delivery will be delivered separately. Deliveries cannot be combined.

The Day of Delivery

You will need to be home to receive the order.  


Upon delivery, please inspect your product carefully. A signature from someone 18 years or older will be required on the delivery receipt. 

Why does my delivery take so long?

As e-commerce consumers, we have been accustomed to ordering products on-line, and then arriving within a couple of days.  Unfortunately, furniture and mattress products are large items that exceed the weight and dimension restrictions of courier services. They simply can't be shipped via courier services like FEDEX, Purolator, UPS etc...  Additionally, products often requiring scheduling a delivery team to move the product from a freight truck to your door. 


Sealy mattresses are manufactured to order.  They are not warehoused.  It takes 2-4 days for order processing, approximately 10 days to manufacture to order and then an additional 10-20 days for shipping. Additionally, timeframes can vary depending on scheduling freight trucks going to parts of the United States. 


We make great products.  They are worth the wait.

90-Day Return Policy

Mattress return policy (policy revised 11-28-2023):


We believe you’ll fall in love with your mattress. We want you to be confident, so we offer our 90-Night Trial. We ask you to try it for 30 nights, and if (during the first 90 nights) you don’t love your new mattress, call us at 1-800-806-5890.


We will work with you to address your concerns. If we can’t find a way to make you happy, we will take the mattress back, and refund your money, less shipping charges. After your first 90 Nights, you can sleep soundly knowing you’re protected from product defects by our 10-Year Limited Warranty on mattresses. In-home delivery items are subject to a $175 return fee.

Ease Power Adjustable Base and StableSupport Foundaton return policy (policy revised 11-28-2023):


We do not accept returns on Foundations or Ease® power bases. We do stand by their quality with compelling warranties.


Sealy StableSupport® Foundations have a 10-year limited warranty.  Ease® Power Adjustable Bases have a 3-year full parts and labor warranty with a 25-year limited warranty on the frame. If you experience problems with your power base, call us at 800-697-3259 to talk to the Sealy® specialists at the manufacturer. They can help, whether it’s a simple question or a warranty-related issue.


Foundations have a 10-year limited warranty.
